Fresh Food Area Manager – Leinster

Excel Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fresh Food Area Manager to oversee the operations of our client’s fresh food departments across Leinster.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fresh food, deli, or catering, with a proven track record of managing multiple sites and driving performance improvements.

Salary: €50k plus Bonus and Company Car

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the performance of fresh food departments across multiple locations in the Munster region
• Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are maintained
• Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability
• Train, mentor, and support staff to achieve operational excellence
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, preparing reports for senior management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability and quality

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a fresh food, deli, or catering environment
• Proven track record of managing multiple sites or departments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Financial acumen and experience in budget management
• A proactive and results-driven approach
