Assistant Manager

Excel Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager for a well-established store in Kildare.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for retail, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to customer service.

Salary: €35k – €40k

Responsibilities of this Assistant Manager:

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient work flow.
• Supervise and support a team, ensuring high standards of service and productivity.
• Manage stock levels, including ordering and stock rotation, to maintain optimal inventory.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
• Maintain appealing product displays to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in staff training and development to ensure a knowledgeable and motivated team.

Requirements of this Assistant Manager:

• Minimum of 3 year’s of management experience in grocery retail.
• Strong understanding of stock management, food safety, and customer service standards.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach.
