Responsibilities of the Bar Manager

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel bar and restaurant
• Lead, train, and inspire a team of bartenders and floor staff
• Develop and manage a seasonal cocktail menu in line with current trends
• Maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction
• Stock and inventory management, ensuring cost control and efficiency
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director to create a cohesive dining and bar experience
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with licensing regulations

Requirements of the Bar Manager

• Minimum 2 years experience in a management role within a premium bar, restaurant, or hotel setting
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
• Passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and staff development
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Experience with stock control and cost management
