Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our client’s team in West Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled butcher to work with a well-established team in a thriving environment.

As the Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of cuts to the highest standards, ensuring excellent product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, a deep understanding of meat preparation, and experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Salary: €36k-€38k

Responsibilities of this Butcher:

• Prepare, cut, and display meat products according to specifications and store standards
• Provide expert advice to customers on cuts, preparation, and cooking techniques
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
• Ensure stock rotation and assist in managing inventory and orders
• Contribute to a clean, organised, and welcoming counter area

Requirements of this Butcher:

• Previous experience as a butcher in a retail or wholesale environment
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
