Store Manager Cork

Our client, a leading multi-national retail chain, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead their high-volume, fast-paced store in Cork. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a retail professional with a proven track record in managing large teams, significant budgets, and high sales volumes.

As Store Manager, you will oversee a team of 40+ employees in a dynamic retail environment, focusing on driving substantial revenue, optimising store operations, and enhancing the customer experience. You will be a strategic leader with strong commercial acumen, capable of implementing efficiencies, maximising profitability, and ensuring the store meets its ambitious financial and operational targets

Key Responsibilities for this job:

• Lead, develop, and inspire a large team to consistently achieve high performance and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage overall store operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running and adherence to company standards.
• Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies and analysing sales trends.
• Control store budgets, manage costs, and ensure profitability through operational efficiencies.
• Oversee stock levels and replenishment, ensuring the store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Maintain strong security procedures to minimise stock loss and shrinkage.

Skills and Requirements for this job:

• 4+ years of experience as a Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-turnover retail environment.
• Proven ability to manage teams of 40+ employees.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding sales targets and optimising profitability.
• Experience overseeing a retail store with a turnover of €10-15 million+.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a dynamic retail setting.
