Responsibilities of this Garment Technologist – Childrenswear role include:

  • Focus on assessing clothing for quality and fit for their private label collection.
  • Draw up measurement schedules and initiate product improvements.
  • Advise stylists, buyers, and suppliers about the fit and work together on the development of their private label collection.
  • Make return analyses at supplier and article level and conduct seasonal evaluations.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding preparing orders for production and checking the sample process.
  • Proactively think when it comes to improvements within your own team and in collaboration with the business.

Requirements for this Garment Technologist – Childrenswear role include:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a Garment Technician role within Private Label.
  • You are analytically strong, good at Excel, commercially driven and you are a fully-fledged discussion partner for suppliers.
  • You are a team player.
  • You are accurate and know how to extract insights from data.

Responsibilities of this job include:

  • Managing the development process of own brand products across retail and wholesale brands.
  • Managing, leading, and developing a team of product developers and technologists to deliver the business strategy.

  • Supporting your team in sourcing, developing, and launching the plan in line with the stage gate development process and category strategies.

  • Responsible for leading, implementing and continually developing ways of working in OB to ensure they are embedded in the business, working closely with Ambient Development Manager.

Requirements for this job include:

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a development or technical role.
  • Will have a love of food and deep knowledge and interest in food trends.
  • Must have knowledge of the Irish/UK grocery market.
  • Must be aware of relevant food/packaging legislations.
  • Great project and time management skills.
  • Ideally experience in people management.

  • You determine together with the Head of Buying the category strategy and product range.
  • You work closely with your colleagues in the design, development, creation, and management of the supplier portfolio to achieve the right consistency in our range of products.
  • You stay abreast of the competitor markets and react to the customer’s needs.
  • You achieve the set KPIs in the field of customer sales and profit by working closely with your suppliers and the Merchandise Planning team.
  • You work closely with the Merchandise planning team in planning and forecasting the customer sales and gross profit.
  • You work closely with marketing to build a relevant marketing trade plan that is relevant for the time of year and customer demand.
  • You source direct and in-direct global suppliers that meet the needs of the business.
