Responsibilities of this Merchandiser job include:

  • Working in conjunction with the buying teams to provide support and direction on strategic, commercial, and analytical decision making with a particular focus on regional requirements.
  • Focus is on maximising sales and profitability by ensuring the right product for each region.
  • Weekly reports on sales performance, presenting relevant information on actual vs projected.
  • Analysing, interpreting, and presenting data.
  • Daily sales tracking against performance.
  • Presenting information on smaller product ranges.
  • Learning to forecast sales to better develop sales plans.

Requirements of this Merchandiser job include:

Our client, a hugely popular fashion retailer, is seeking a confident Product Technologist for their Home & Lifestyle team. As Product Technologist for our client’s Home & Lifestyle team, you must already have strong technical expertise to deliver quality products that are safe, legal and fit for purpose. You will come with experience in home and lifestyle products and be up-to-date on relevant testing. Dublin city centre based.

Your day-to-day of these Product Technologist jobs include:

  • Driving the delivery of the departmental and quality strategy in line with customer’s expectations
  • Applying quality standards and commercially evaluating product testing
  • Monitoring returns reports
  • Undertaking benchmarking exercises with competitors
  • Adhering to and ensuring best practices are followed
  • Liaise with retail teams to understand and interpret customer feedback on quality issues
  • In partnership with the buying teams, participate in supplier meetings to drive the quality agenda
  • Engaging with Sourcing and Ethical to understand supplier performance.
  • Identifying opportunities where process efficiencies can be developed and drive cost savings
  • Through training and engagement with Buying and Suppliers, improve the sampling hit rate

Requirements for these Product Technologist jobs include:

Supply Planner

Supply Planner

My client, a leading international food business, is seeking an ambitious and analytical Supply Planner to join their Supply Team in South Dublin. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day supply function while being involved in a rapidly growing Irish food business.

Responsibilities of this job include:

  • Manage supply in line with demand forecast & company set targets using company business planning system (Exceedra Procast) & ERP system (IFS) for the assigned profile.
  • Full ownership and monitoring of orders placed until arrival, ensuring timely arrival on site striving to meet full customer order fulfilment.
  • Proactively developing alternative solutions to minimize any stock outages as a result of internal or external issues.
  • Close collaboration with the commercial and sales team to achieve 98.5% Service Level. Run weekly Commercial & operational meetings.
  • Monitor actual vendor performance against schedules. As required develop alternate plans to ensure volume and mix metrics are achieved.
  • Balance of inventory levels in line with business requirements for continued supply, with a view towards optimum stock holding and reduced costs.
  • Strong relationship building with suppliers in order to achieve maximum SLA’s
  • Provide support to supplier production plants and attendance at associated planning meetings.
  • Manage request for stock outside of forecast within frozen period and manage flow of orders which have exceeded agreed forecast.

Requirements for this job include:

  • Third Level Degree in Supply Chain Management/Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills along with excellent organization / time management skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and proficient at multitasking.
