Venue Duty Manager – Dublin South

Excel Recruitment is excited to recruit a Venue Duty Manager for our client’s entertainment and hospitality venue in South Dublin. This expansive and innovative venue spans multiple floors and combines a modern games space, stylish bar, elegant restaurant, and premium events facilities.

Salary: €33k – €35k

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across the entire venue during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless service across games, bar, restaurant, and events spaces
• Act as the senior manager on duty, supporting department heads and teams to maintain high service and operational standards
• Ensure an outstanding guest experience through proactive floor management and customer engagement
• Manage staffing levels, break schedules, and labour controls in line with business needs
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company procedures
• Support the delivery of private events, functions, and large group bookings
• Lead by example, motivating teams and maintaining a positive, high-energy working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisory role within hospitality, leisure, or large-scale venues
• Strong operational awareness with experience overseeing multiple departments or service areas
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
• A hands-on, professional, and guest-focused approach
