Job Title: Furniture Delivery Driver / Mover

Location: Limerick, Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, occasional weekends)
Licence : B, Professional Driving experience required

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Delivery Driver with a B Licence to join our furniture moving team in Limerick. This role involves driving vans to customer locations, loading/unloading furniture, and ensuring safe and timely delivery and setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vans (B licence category) for local and regional furniture deliveries

• Load, unload, and move furniture items with care and efficiency

• Work as part of a two-person team (sometimes solo) for residential and commercial moves

• Handle furniture assembly/disassembly as required

• Provide excellent customer service on-site

• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures

• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Valid Category B driving licence (manual transmission preferred)

• Minimum 6 months driving experience (delivery or similar preferred)

• Good physical fitness – ability to lift heavy furniture safely

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Punctual, dependable, and respectful toward customers

• Basic English required (spoken and written)

Desirable

• Previous experience in removals, delivery, or furniture assembly

• Manual handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Familiarity with Limerick and surrounding areas
