Excel Recruitment are looking for an experienced transport planner for there depot in Kildare.

Are you passionate about keeping goods moving efficiently and on time? Our client is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Transport Planner.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

• Plan and optimize daily transport routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness

• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure smooth deliveries

• Monitor fleet performance and resolve transportation issues as they arise

• Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company policies

• Use logistics software and tracking tools to manage and analyze transport data

🧠 What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or supply chain coordination

• Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills

• Proficiency with transport management systems (TMS) and MS Office

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
