Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for Support Workers – Adult Residential on a permanent full-time basis, based in the Co. Down area with a starting salary of £21,795 per year with staff benefits.

Our client has a global reach in the Social Care sector, offering a wide range of services that supports Adults and Children with learning disabilities. This client also has an impressive site with facilities and views that truly must be seen to be believed.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:
Provide the highest level of support (including personal care) to adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, complex needs, and autism. You’ll work as part of a team where you’ll promote choices, rights, and independence.

Requirements:

• QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care and 6 months experience in a similar setting or 1-year experience without a QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care.
• Current NISCC registration or in the process of obtaining registration.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a care/support setting in the last two years.
• Experienced in planning, implementation, and review of individual support packages.
• Experience in personal care.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
• Flexible to work shift patterns that include evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
