Supermarket Assistant Manager – North Dublin
Salary: €45,000 – €50,000

Excel Recruitment is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Assistant Manager on behalf of our client, a progressive and well-established supermarket in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Store Manager in a smaller convenience retailer looking to take the next step, or an Assistant Manager seeking a move to a forward-thinking and growing organisation.

About the Role:
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading store operations, supporting the Store Manager, and managing a high-performing team. You will have responsibility for sales, operational efficiency, and customer service standards across the store, with the opportunity to make a significant impact in a busy, modern retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations.

• Lead, coach, and develop the store team to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Monitor sales performance, manage stock, and ensure efficient merchandising.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies.

• Assist in achieving store KPIs, sales targets, and operational objectives.

• Deliver a positive shopping experience for all customers while maintaining operational excellence.

Candidate Requirements:

• Current Store Manager in a convenience retail environment OR current Supermarket Assistant Manager.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to drive results.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• Commercially minded and motivated to progress in a dynamic retail environment.

• Flexible and hands-on approach in a fast-paced store setting.
