Store Manager Designate – Louth / Dublin North

Our Client, a big box retail chain known for their award-winning company culture, their investment into training, development and support is seeking to recruit an experienced Store Manager to join the business.

As designate store manager you will gain knowledge, experience and insights into the business across stores in Drogheda, Dundalk and North county with a view to taking ownership of your own store.

This job is suited to a senior store manager in high volume fashion or non food retailing looking to join a large big box chain.

The Store Manager Designate job responsibilities include.

• Supporting the Store Manager with all aspects of driving sales and profitability across the categories
• Responsible for motivating, encouraging, and developing a strong support management team.
• Delivery of the store budget for each period and achieving sales and KPI’s
• Increase the store sales margin.
• Deliver world class customer service, continuously coaching and motivating the store team.
• Measure direct reports performance against defined objectives, understand training needs and implementing plan of action.
• Analyse Store P&L and implement action plans to maximise bottom line contribution.
• Communicate and drive all KPI’s across your leadership team and colleagues.
• Monitor stock loss and implement strategies to reduce company deficit costs.

The Store Manager Job will require the following attributes and skills:

• 3-4 years Store Management experience within high volume Fashion or non Food retailing
• An inspirational leader with experience in leading teams of 30+ and a management team of 4+
• Excellent commercial, visual, and customer service skills
• Entrepreneurial and target driven with a commercial focus.
• Excellent operational and planning skills
• Strong business acumen with a clear P&L understanding
