Store Manager – Drogheda

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager for our client’s retail store in Drogheda, Louth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven retail professional to take charge of all aspects of store operations, from managing staff, ensuring outstanding customer service to optimising overall store performance.

Salary: €50k – €60k DOE

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a busy retail store
• Effectively manage staff and motivate them to meet and exceed KPIs
• Analyse and understand daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding sales, waste, and margins to ensure the growth of the store
• Ensuring that all regulations and standards are met regarding HACCP, food safety, stock control and waste management
• Reviewing staff performance regularly, creating staff rosters, and ensuring overall high standards of the store

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing a convenience or retail store
• Strong sales orientation with a track record of driving sales and achieving targets
• Proficient in using store management systems and technology
• Excellent leadership and people management skill
• Experience in training, developing, and recruiting staff
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
