Store Manager – Co. Meath
Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Store Manager on behalf of our client’s convenience store in Co. Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day operation of a high-performing store, driving standards, sales, and team development in a fast-paced convenience retail environment.

Salary: €50k – €55k

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of the convenience store, ensuring smooth and efficient running across all departments
• Lead, train, and motivate the store team to deliver excellent customer service and consistently high standards
• Drive sales, margins, and profitability while maintaining control over costs, waste, and shrink
• Ensure strong store presentation, merchandising, and product availability
• Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies
• Monitor KPIs, analyse performance, and implement action plans to achieve store targets
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing store team
• Handle customer issues professionally and efficiently
• Foster a positive, performance-driven culture within the store

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Manager within convenience, grocery, or forecourt retail
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with a hands-on approach
• Excellent commercial awareness with a proven ability to deliver against KPIs and budgets
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for customer service and operational excellence
• Flexible to work across store trading hours, including weekends as required
