Store Manager

Are you passionate about DIY, electrical, paint, homewares, and outdoor living? We are looking for a hands on Store Manager to lead a well-established retail business in Wexford that specialises in all of the above.

You will take full responsibility for day-to-day floor operations, lead a team of 20+, and ensure the store consistently delivers an exceptional shopping experience across a wide range of product categories.

Key Responsibilities for this Store Manager:

• Lead and support a team of 20 to 25 across departments including DIY, hardware, electrical, paint, homewares, and garden.
• Deliver a 5-star customer experience through expert product knowledge and service.
• Oversee stock control, replenishment, and VM across all categories.
• Manage KPIs, sales performance, shrinkage, and promotional activity.
• Take a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and in-store operations.
• Ensure the store environment is well-organised, fully stocked, and customer-friendly.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high team performance and engagement.

Key Requirements for this Store Manager:

• Hands on store management experience in DIY, hardware, lifestyle, or general home improvement setting.
• Strong leadership and team development skills in a high-volume store environment.
• Commercially aware with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Confident managing customer service, and staff in a fast-paced retail setting.
