Staff Nurse

Excel Healthcare is actively recruiting a Staff Nurse on behalf of our client, an ambitious healthcare provider. This will be based in their Dublin 5 location, a large transitional care facility.

This client provides transitional care for patients with varying conditions such as those post-surgery or post-stroke. The focus for these patients is on reablement and the promotion of independence prior to discharge back into the community. There is a lot to learn in this environment, and you are well supported by a full multi-disciplinary team. It’s an ideal opportunity for a Staff Nurse who wants to gain more acute experience as it’s similar to a hospital setting.

Staff Nurse Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of patients
• Liaising with all members of the multi-disciplinary team regarding patients’ plan of care
• Adhere to local policies and procedures as well as maintaining HIQA standards
• Mentoring junior staff where required

Requirements:

• Active NMBI registration
• Have a relevant nursing qualification
• Some post-graduate experience is beneficial but not essential
