Sous Chef

Excel Recruitment is looking for a Sous Chef on a full-time permanent basis within a prestigious Café/Deli in Belfast City Centre. This position is for early morning starts with no late shifts at all, for a great work-life balance for you.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• HACCP & Manual handling certs
• Ability to work in a busy City Centre hospitality setting
• Knowledge of all food safety & health & safety guidelines
• Good timekeeping as this position comes with early morning starts
• Good level of spoken English

Your responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food to a high & consistent standard
• As Sous Chef you will always demonstrate a passion for service
• Following company guidelines on all food-related procedures
• Keep yourself, and your work area clean throughout your shift
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
