Social Media and Marketing Assistant – Ladies Fashion

My client is one of Ireland’s leading ladies fashion retailers, over 50 years in business with a strong presence both online and in stores nationwide.

Please note this is an entry level position salary €30k-€33k and applicants must:

• Have a car and drive to travel occasionally to a store
• Be ladies fashion focused
• Be social media savvy
• Be comfortable behind and in front of the camera
• Be comfortable showcasing and wearing the clothing
• Be able to get to Dublin 24

This job is ideal for an ambitious marketing executive or junior marketer aiming to grow a career in the Irish fashion industry.

As Social Media & Marketing Assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of the content creation process including set-up, filming in front of and behind the camera, editing, and posting.

You will also support the marketing team with other tasks such as website merchandising, influencer marketing, and digital campaigns

You will be confident using Shopify Plus, Klaviyo and Canva.

This Social Media and Marketing Assistant position is highly collaborative but requires someone who can also take initiative and execute ideas independently.

Key responsibilities for Social Media and Marketing Assistant

• Content creation and idea generation for Instagram and TikTok, including independently recording engaging short-form video content
• Confidently working both in front of and behind the camera to produce trend-led, product-focused and seasonal campaign content
• Managing website updates, including uploading new product imagery, writing collection descriptions and adding promotional content via Shopify Plus
• Writing SEO-focused blogs and articles to increase website visibility and drive traffic
• Drafting press releases and liaising with journalists for online and print coverage
• Coordinating macro and micro influencer outreach to promote seasonal products and campaigns
• Supporting the marketing team with newsletter design and campaign preparation via Klaviyo
• Editing product and campaign imagery using Canva
