Senior Lead Engineer

Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Lead Engineer with experience in the power industry. You will be joining highly skilled professionals with a variety of different disciplines, including engineering, commerce, and policy. The team assesses the impact of new connections onto the power system along with planning activities, including, visioning for 2030 and beyond to generate the first view of how the power system in Ireland will evolve. Requirements:

• An Engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 6+ years relevant experience in the power industry.
• Experience of carrying out power system modelling and analysis using commercial software such as Plexos.
• Develop bespoke tools to integrate with the commercial software using programming languages such as Python.
• Show proven experience of managing strategic, power system analysis projects – overseeing successful outcomes.
• Lead and influence others to move towards a common vision or goal.
• Develop high performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environment.
