Sales & Marketing Manager 4-star Hotel

My client is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join their beautiful 4-star Hotel in Limerick City.

Since the Hotel is getting a facelift both inside and out, this is a really exciting time to join and an opportunity for this person to really put their stamp on this job.

The idea candidate will come with a hotel background in order to hit the ground running and come with lots of ideas to promote the bar, restaurant, rooms, conference, and banqueting services.

As Sales & Marketing Manager will overseeing the development and implementation of the hotels sales and marketing strategy.

I am looking for someone with tons of energy, passion, and personality who has a track record of driving sales.

Salary & Package: €45k-€55k negotiable but must reflect experience, Pension Contribution, Life Assurance, Staff Discount.

Key Responsibilities for the job of Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager:

• Monitor and enhance the hotel’s online presence across the website and third-party platforms.
• Liaise with website providers to ensure SEO optimisation and strong online visibility.
• Support website development and optimise performance using Google Analytics.
• Develop e-zines and manage website content and PPC campaigns.
• Create and implement a structured Social Media strategy.
• Conduct market research and analyse portfolio and booking engine data to recommend revenue improvements.
• Analyse local and regional competitors to assess market positioning and pricing.
• Maintain and develop the client database, including direct mail campaigns.
• Conduct face-to-face sales calls, delivering tailored presentations.
• Carry out telesales calls to generate new business and maintain client relationships.
• Attend trade shows, industry and network events to generate leads and brand exposure.
• Oversee production of brochures and printed materials; manage hotel imagery and photography.
• Produce weekly reports to track and support Sales & Marketing activities
