Our client, a well-known and successful national charity retail chain, is seeking to recruit a Retail Area Manager for their Limerick, Clare, Offaly, and Tipperary region. This is a wonderful job opportunity for an innovative, energetic, and ambitious Senior Store Manager/Cluster Manager with fast-paced, high-volume fashion experience looking to gain experience in not-for-profit retail.

Reporting to the Head of Retail, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a large team of managers and volunteers in order to maximise sales, productivity, revenue opportunities, and customer satisfaction in line with strategic objectives.

Due to the nature of the business model, the ideal candidate will have an interest in charitable organisations, have empathy for the cause, and have a strong people management skillset. You will be hands-on and standards-driven with a natural customer approach.

Full clean license and own car is required.

Key responsibilities of this job:

  • Guide and motivate individuals and teams to achieve key objectives
  • Identify new opportunities to increase revenue and strategies to maximise profits
  • Driving performance by training, challenging, motivating, and providing feedback to the team of Store Managers
  • Setting, maintaining, and improving visual and commercial standards
  • Managing all financial budgets and costs ensuring maximum profit
  • Analyse weekly and monthly sales versus targets and take corrective actions
  • Promote and ensure the highest levels of customer service
  • Develop company policies, plans, and procedures

Skills and qualities required for this job:

  • 5+ years of high-volume store management experience
  • Proven track record in reaching targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively about business development
  • Demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness
  • Own car and clean driving license required
