Responsibilities of a Catering Assistant

• Cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools
• Ensuring all surfaces, floors, and food areas are sanitised to the highest standards
• Supporting with simple food prep when required
• Keeping food stations stocked and tidy throughout service
• Serve food and beverages in a professional manner

Requirements of a Catering Assistant

• Manual Handling certification (training available if needed)
• HACCP or Food Safety certification (training available if needed)
• Some kitchen or catering experience is a plus, but not essential
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in different teams and settings
