People and Culture Manager

€30000 - €33000 Human Resources Northern Ireland

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a People and Culture Manager on a permanent full-time basis, based in the Downpatrick area with a salary of £30,000 – £33,000 per year.

Our client has supported people with learning disabilities to live their lives to the fullest, for over 30 years, helping them achieve their independence by receiving the very best in high-quality, person-centred care.

This client is going through a significant period of growth with further plans for expansion in 2023, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone with three years of HR Generalist experience, that’s now looking to progress further.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

  • Have a particular strong focus on delivering and driving all aspects of the HR function, providing information, guidance, and advice while ensuring best practice and compliance is followed, to over 120 staff.

Requirements:

  • 3rd Level qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent).
  • Working towards, or already qualified, to CIPD Level 5.
  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience – with experience in employee relations, recruitment and selection, development, and review of policies.
  • 2 years’ experience in coaching management teams, managing change and driving improvements.
  • IT proficient.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
  • While not essential, experience and knowledge of social care and relevant bodies will be advantageous.
