Paddy Power Deputy Manager

Excel Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with Paddy Power to recruit passionate and ambitious Deputy Managers to join their Dublin locations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their leadership career in a fast-paced, customer-first environment – where no two days are the same, and the energy is contagious.

As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key supporting role in the day-to-day running of the shop. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, deliver excellent customer service, and drive business results. You’ll also be ready to step up and take charge whenever needed.

This role is ideal for a natural team leader who’s ready to take the next step in their retail career.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the Store Manager with overall shop operations
• Leading the team by example, ensuring top-tier customer engagement
• Helping to drive performance and hit KPIs through smart in-shop activity
• Coaching and mentoring team members to unlock their full potential
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company policies
• Taking responsibility for opening/closing, security, and cash handling when in charge

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous management / supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing leadership role
• A team player who’s confident stepping into a leadership position
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• A proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow
