Kitchen Porter – Cork

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and dependable Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchens across Cork. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment

• Ensure all kitchen and back-of-house areas are kept clean and hygienic

• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required

• Manage waste disposal in line with food safety and recycling procedures

• Maintain clean and safe floors and work surfaces

• Adhere strictly to HACCP and health & safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous

• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure

• Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices

• Manual Handling and HACCP certification desirable (training can be arranged)

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability
