Kitchen Porter – Waterford

We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchen operations in Waterford. This role is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, and enjoys being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, storage rooms, and service areas
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
• Keep floors, surfaces, and workstations clean and hazard-free
• Adhere to all food safety, HACCP, and health & safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is an advantage
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Manual Handling and HACCP certification desirable (training can be facilitated)
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
