Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Intensive Support Worker in Belfast on a full-time basis to March 2027 with possibility of extension.
Salary for the role is offered at £26,027 along with a staff benefit package that includes private health cover and more.

The Job:
- The Intensive Support Worker will provide intensive, wraparound support to a small caseload of individuals with highly complex needs, including homelessness, trauma, mental ill health, substance use, offending behaviour and poor physical health.
- You will build trusted relationships, coordinate multi‑agency support through the Complex Lives MDT, and lead on developing, implementing and reviewing personalised support and risk management plans. The job includes maintaining accurate records, contributing to audits and quality improvement, working collaboratively with partner agencies, and ensuring services meet regulatory and organisational standards.
- You’ll also participate in a 24‑hour shift rota (including nights and weekends), support health and safety procedures, promote equality and client choice, and help drive continuous improvement across the service.
The Person:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with socially excluded or vulnerable individuals.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partner agencies.
- Experience delivering person‑centred, strengths‑based support, including assessing needs, risks and goals.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload effectively.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Full driving licence and access to transport, or suitable alternative if disability prevents driving.
