Grocery Night Manager – Killarney

Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Grocery Night Manager on behalf of our client’s busy convenience store in Co. Kerry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on retail professional to join a busy, customer-focused store and take responsibility for ensuring smooth and efficient operations during night-time trading hours.

Our clients an expanding retailer with multiple store across Kerry and many more to be announced by the end of the year into 2026 – are seeking a manager to learn the business but who is seeking progression opportunities.

Salary: €35k – €40k DOE plus night premium rates

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the running of the store during night shifts
• Ensure exceptional customer service and store presentation at all times
• Supervise, support, and motivate the night team to achieve operational targets
• Manage cash handling, store security, and end-of-day procedures
• Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and product availability overnight
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within retail or convenience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative and make decisions confidently
• A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on excellent customer service
• Flexibility to work night shifts on a full-time basis
