Excel Recruitment is looking for a General Operative to support the operations of a busy warehouse facility in BALLINA, CO.MAYO.

The General Operative plays a vital role in ensuring efficiency, quality, safety and meeting production targets.

Shift Times : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Pay Rate : €14.50 per hour

You need to live in Ballina, or have a car to drive to this facility in this region.

This is for a four month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, handling, packaging, and dispatching of goods.
• Sort, inspect and assemble products/components.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work area, perform general housekeeping duties.
• Carry out simple quality checks, report defects or irregularities to supervisor.
• Perform manual handling (lifting, moving materials) tasks safely.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Operate tools and equipment as instructed (hand tools, minor equipment).
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
