The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing culinary teams across multiple units with a hands-on approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and delivering unparalleled experiences to clients.

Responsibilities of the General Manager role

  • Manage and coordinate catering operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food and service.
  • Working with the development team to create and develop menu items in line with the company ethos of innovation, sustainability, and use of fresh local produce.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, proactively addressing their needs and resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, implementing best practices to continuously improve catering services.
  • Hire, train, and supervise catering staff, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure team members deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensuring the highest hygiene standards and compliance of HACCP are maintained in the units and documentation recorded.

Requirements of the General Manager role

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Area Manager, or Multi-Site Manager within catering, contract catering, or hospitality
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and empower diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with both staff and clients
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with proven experience in driving business performance
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites as required
