Fresh Food Operations Manager – Co. Kerry

Excel Recruitment is thrilled to be recruiting a Fresh Food Operations Manager on behalf of our client, a successful and expanding group of convenience stores in Co. Kerry.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced retail or food operations professional to take a leading role in driving food standards, quality, and profitability across multiple sites.

Salary: €50k – €60k – DOE

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the performance of fresh food departments across multiple locations in Kerry
• Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are maintained
• Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability
• Train, mentor, and support staff to achieve operational excellence
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, preparing reports for senior management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability and quality

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a fresh food, deli, or catering environment
• Proven track record of managing multiple sites or departments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Financial acumen and experience in budget management
• A proactive and results-driven approach
