Deli Manager

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Four-court Deli Manager to lead a passionate team with our client, an outstanding retailer based in Carriglaine

Salary: €35k-€37k

As Deli Manager you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, and high-quality produce and ensuring the area is operating to the highest levels.

The role:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the deli department and delegate tasks to staff
• Maintain high standards across the deli area, ensuring high-quality products and service are the norm
• Supporting the Store Manager and ensuring the area operates at peak performance
• Responsible for optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste/waste control in your department.
• Develop new ideas to drive sales and increase footfall in-store

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimizing waste and maintaining margins
• Experience in stock control and stock management is essential
• Ensure the implementation of food safety standards and H.A.C.C.P.
• Train staff per company policies and procedures
• Resolve any customer queries or complaints effectively and efficiently
• Maintain the deli area to a high standard in accordance with company planograms
