Food and Beverage Manager- Wicklow
This role calls for someone who can bring energy, warmth, and sharp commercial instincts to a busy retail, café and restaurant environment in the Wicklow area.
The focus is on leading a team to deliver standout customer experiences while keeping standards sky-high across presentation, stock control, and daily operations. You’ll be shaping the feel of the cafe and restaurant while coaching your team, and driving performance through strong communication, smart decision-making, and a real passion for great service.
The ideal person thrives in a hands-on setting, knows how to balance hospitality and genuinely enjoys building teams that work well together. You’ll bring experience in cafe / restaurant management , confidence in hitting targets, and the kind of organisational skill that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Salary: €50k
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure the highest standards of store presentation, visual merchandising, and product display, reflecting the Arboretum brand values.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including stock control, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
- Implement and monitor performance standards, ensuring a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Drive commercial results through effective sales strategies, customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge across garden, home, and lifestyle ranges, promoting cross-category sales.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of team members, fostering a positive and motivated workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with senior management on promotions, seasonal events, and customer experience initiatives.
