Driver Helper – Home Goods Retailer (Cork)

We’re looking for a dependable and physically fit Driver Helper to join our Cork based home goods retailer team. This role involves supporting our delivery drivers, handling stock safely, and ensuring a high level of service to retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the driver with loading and unloading furniture, bedding, electronics, etc.
* Safely deliver products to customers and retail outlets.
* Verify delivery notes and help ensure stock accuracy at drop-off points.
* Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-organised.
* Provide friendly and professional service during deliveries.
* Assist with navigation and maintaining an efficient delivery schedule.

What We’re Looking For
* Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
* Good general fitness and stamina.
* Reliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
* Comfortable with basic reading and number skills for order verification.
* Team player with solid communication abilities.
* Manual Handling Certificate is an advantage (training can be provided).
* Experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Shift starts at 8 AM – 5 PM
• Tuesday to Saturday
