Job Title: Driver Helper Operative

Location: Little Island, Co. Cork
Job Type: Full-Time, 6 Month Contract with a view to permanency.

Pay Rate : €16.02 per hour + €14.00 per day
Licence Required: Full Clean Category B Driving Licence (Essential)

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper Operative to join our operations team based in Little Island. The ideal candidate will assist with deliveries/collections, ensure efficient loading/unloading, and may be required to drive vehicles when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist drivers with daily routes, loading/unloading goods, and ensuring safe deliveries.

  • Navigate and support route optimisation.

  • Carry out manual handling duties (e.g., lifting, carrying, sorting goods).

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in vehicles and work areas.

  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the public.

  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.

  • Drive company vehicle (B Licence category) when required.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean B category driving licence – essential.

  • Physically fit – ability to perform manual tasks.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible with working hours.

  • Experience in a similar operative or delivery role is an advantage but not essential.
