Department Manager – Fashion / Home

Our client, one of the most successful retail chains in Ireland are seeking ambitious and career-driven Department Managers to join their stores across Dublin. We are open to applications from Supervisors up to Store Manager level who are looking to join a thriving fashion and home retail group where you will be offered genuine opportunities to progress and develop your career.

Our client is looking for trend-led Department Managers with experience in fast-paced and high-volume retail. You will be a hands-on and proactive Manager with proven people leadership capabilities coupled with strong commercial acumen.

Skills and experience required for this job:

• Previous management / supervisory experience in high-volume and fast-paced retail
• Genuine interest in fashion and trends
• Strong commercial and operational skills
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Ambitious and energetic with a passion to drive your career forward
• Full driver’s license

Responsibilities of this job include:

• Drive commercial activity across your department
• Implement retail priorities and effectively communicate targets and objectives to your team
• Deliver the retail plan through customer service and product display
• Lead and motivate your team through high levels of engagement and communications
• Ensure excellent visual merchandising standards are delivered
• Analyse sales reports on a daily basis ensuring correct commercial decisions
• Liaise closely with head office buyers on best sellers, space allocation, and product availability
