Department Manager – Limerick

We are looking for a Department Manager to join a growing retail chain in Limerick. My client is looking for somebody with experience managing large teams in a fast pace retail environment who also has a natural love for service and standards.

Key responsibilities of this Department Managers job:

• Driving sales and KPI’s through a team of 15+.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
• Effectively leading your team through motivation, training, and coaching.
• To provide leadership within your department while achieving sales growth through identifying, developing, and coaching talent.
• Identifying commercial opportunities.
• Conducting performance appraisals when required and supporting with talent and succession planning for your team.

Skills essential for this Department Managers job:

• 2-3+ years of retail management experience in high-volume big box non-food/fashion retail.
• Proven track record of managing teams of 10-15+.
• Excellent commercial, visual, and customer service skills
• Strong people leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of retail KPI’s is essential for this role.
