Deli Manager – South Dublin

Salary: €38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, permanent | Early morning shifts

Excel Recruitment are hiring a Deli Manager for a busy, high-volume store in South Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced deli professional to join a well-known retail group offering strong career prospects, a competitive salary, and a supportive working environment.

This role would suit someone passionate about fresh food, experienced in leading a team, and comfortable starting early in the morning to ensure the deli is ready to serve customers from the start of the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full operation of the deli department, ensuring high standards in food quality, hygiene, and customer service

• Lead and manage a team of deli staff, ensuring efficient service and strong teamwork

• Manage stock levels, ordering, waste, and profitability

• Ensure compliance with all HACCP and food safety procedures

• Maintain excellent merchandising and displays to maximise sales

• Continuously look for ways to improve standards, service, and offerings

Who We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in a deli, fresh food, or catering management role

• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and health & safety procedures

• A proven people manager with the ability to train, develop, and lead a team

• A passion for fresh food and high-quality customer service

• Comfortable with early starts and flexible to work weekends when needed
