Clinical Nurse Manager – South Dublin

Excel Healthcare is partnering with one of Ireland’s most well-known providers of premium residential care, to hire a Clinical Nurse Manager. This is an amazing opportunity for a candidate who has experience in care of the older person and looking to progress into management.

Our client provides long-term care in their luxurious care home on the South Side of Dublin. The ethos of this client is really family-centered to ensure residents feel at home, and that their independence is promoted. A friendly, supportive and diverse work environment is encouraged to ensure staff satisfaction. The Clinical Nurse Manager will motivate the team, lead by example and create a rapport with all residents.

Clinical Nurse Manager responsibilities:

• Ensure provision of a high-standard of care, with priority given to resident’s rights and needs
• Lead and motivate a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, delegating tasks appropriately
• Supporting and assisting junior staff
• Carry out audits where required
• Maintain a professional but approachable attitude

Requirements:

• Active nursing registration with the NMBI
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of HIQA standards
• Post-graduate experience is required
