Clinical Nurse Manager

Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager on behalf of our client who has recently opened a brand-new care facility in North Co. Dublin. This presents an exciting opportunity to join a new home that is in the development stage.

Our client specialises in premium nursing homes, with an outstanding reputation as a healthcare provider. This home will be no different, and the successful candidate will be essential in developing a strong team of nurses and healthcare assistants to provide a high standard of care. You will need to be jovial and engaging with the residents and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The Clinical Nurse Manager is supported by a skilled and experienced management team to ensure you excel in the role. This is an ideal position for a qualified nurse looking to move into a management position, or an experienced CNM who wants a new challenge.

Clinical Nurse Manager responsibilities:

• Oversee the provision of high-quality care to residents
• Effective management of staff and resources
• Conduct regular audits of clinical metrics and safety issues
• Carry out staff appraisals and facilitate professional development plans
• Assess skill mix and support junior staff when required

Job requirements:

• Active NMBI registration
• Experience in a leadership or senior role is an advantage
• 2+ years’ experience as a staff nurse
• Experience in care of the older person is desirable but not essential
