Excel Recruitment is looking for experienced Catering Assistant to work in Hospitality and Catering roles in Limerick.

Key Responsibilities of the Catering Assistant:

• Serving customers efficiently and politely at the deli counter
• Operating tills and handling cash/card transactions accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across food preparation and service areas
• Assisting with food preparation and restocking during service
• Working as part of an efficient, friendly team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Strong spoken English – essential for customer interaction and team communication
• Previous experience working on tills and in a deli or similar food service setting
• A friendly, positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and under pressure during busy periods
• HACCP & Manual Handling certification is essential (training can be provided)
