Catering Assistant – Limerick

We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Catering Assistant to join our team in the Limerick region for daytime work. This role is well suited to individuals with previous catering or food-service experience who are confident working independently while providing a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation as required
• Operate the till, process transactions accurately, and provide efficient service
• Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
• Set up and maintain food service areas to a high standard
• Ensure all food service areas, equipment, and work spaces are clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene regulations
• Follow all health, safety, and HACCP procedures at all times
• Work independently, managing tasks efficiently to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements for Catering Assistants

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar food-service role
• Experience with till operation and customer-facing service
• Coffee-making experience is desirable
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
  (HACCP and Manual Handling certificates required; training can be facilitated)
• Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
