Experienced Catering Assistant – Weekend Morning Shifts

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Catering Assistant to join our team for consistent weekend morning work. This role is ideal for someone with strong catering experience who is comfortable carrying out minor cooking duties and working on their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and carry out light cooking duties as required
• Ensure all food areas, equipment, and service spaces are kept clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards
• Set up and maintain breakfast or morning service to a high standard
• Follow all health, safety, and HACCP procedures
• Manage tasks independently and ensure smooth, efficient service
• Provide friendly, professional customer service when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a catering assistant or in a similar food-service role
• Ability to carry out basic cooking and food-prep duties
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP/Manual Handling desirable; can be facilitated)
• Punctual, dependable, and well-presented
• Availability for regular weekend morning shifts
