Catering Assistant – Dublin

Excel recruitment is seeking to recruit a hard-working Catering Assistant to join our client’s team in north county Dublin.

The successful candidate will have experience in a busy environment, with prepping food, ensuring HACCP procedures are being adhered to, food ordering and stock control.

This is a full-time position (45 hours) and you must be available to work weekends.

Salary: €30-32k DOE

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Controlling food items in your section according to specifications
• Keeping the kitchen area neat, clean, and sanitary
• Labelling all food items and following HACCP procedures
• Managing and minimising waste
• Preparing portions of meat, fish, and poultry
• Upholding food safety and temperature standards

Who you are:

• Experience as a Catering Assistant/Cook/Chef in a busy kitchen environment
• A professional, polite manner to lead by example for all staff
• An adaptable, flexible approach to high-pressure situations
• Clear and concise communication skills
