Our client in Dublin south is looking for a care-assistant who has driving experience to work is their unit on a full time basis. This Care assistant position is fixed hours Monday-Friday and is an exciting role with opportunities to progress in your career.

Responsibilities of this Care Assistant include, but are not limited to:

• Assist service users with all activities of daily living
• Driving to transport service users in the van provided
• To take direction from Senior staff, and carry out assigned tasks to the best of your ability
• Ongoing communication and teamwork

The Requirements of this Care Assistant:

Relevant certificates required

• Full drivers license & driving experience essential as your required to drive the bus to transport service users
• IRP card (if a non-EU citizen) required
• Working towards a QQI/ Fetac level 5 is desirable
• Patient manual Handling – this can be obtained through Excel Recruitment
