My client, a leading food retail and wholesale company are seeking a Buying Assistant to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of this dynamic business. North Dublin based with hybrid working.

Responsibilities of this Buying Assistant job include:
- Advise pricing office of all price and product file related changes.
- Coordinate the communication of promotional activity to branches.
- Prepare required financial information in advance of supplier meetings.
- Prepare and communicate weekly category performance measurements.
- Review service levels on a weekly basis to assess performance issues and take appropriate action to resolve.
- Handle day to day queries with suppliers, sales teams, and branches.
- Collate information for supplier cost increases.
- Support project work as required e.g. seasonal, range rationalisation or any other projects that the business may require.
Experience required for this Buying Assistant job include:
- Minimum 1 year of administration skills.
- Good level of numeracy skills.
- Organisational skills.
- Excellent PC Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Supplier management experience is desirable.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Relevant third level qualification.
