Barista – Limerick

We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Barista in the Limerick area. This role is ideal for someone confident working independently, with strong barista skills and experience handling customer transactions. The position will involve lone working, so the successful candidate must be comfortable managing the service area and maintaining high standards throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of high-quality coffee beverages using a double coffee machine and eureka coffee grinder
• Operate the till and process customer transactions accurately
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Manage the service area independently
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages as needed
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, and health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a barista in a café or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and experience using commercial coffee machines
• Confidence using a till and handling card payments
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
• HACCP and Manual Handling certification desirable (training can be facilitated)
