Assistant Supermarket Manager

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an Assistant Supermarket Manager to join our client, a high-volume supermarket retail store in West Dublin.

Salary package: €55k – €60k DOE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vastly successful grocery retailer, who have stores nationwide. This job would suit a dynamic Assistant Store Manager with a talent for leading and coaching teams, and a keen commercial focus.

Who you are as an Assistant Store Manager:

• A dynamic individual with previous experience in grocery retail management
• A proven track record in leading and motivating a team of staff members

• Target-driven with a drive to surpass sales targets and KPIs

Your responsibilities as Assistant Supermarket Manager will include:

• Achieving sales targets and KPIs, maximising profits and controlling costs
• Adhering to Health and Safety and HACCP requirements
• Managing stocktaking, ordering and stock rotation
• Assisting the Manager in driving sales and standards in-store
• Keeping the highest standards of cleanliness across the premises
• Regularly liaising with head office and suppliers
• Assisting the Manager in leading the staff and management teams
