Assistant Manager – Kildare

Excel Recruitment is delighted to announce that we are seeking an Assistant Manager for our client, an award-winning retailer located in Kildare.

Salary: €35k – €38k DOE

Our client is a well-established, grocery retailer that is looking for an ambitious and dynamic Assistant Manager to grow and develop their business. As Assistant Manager you will be tasked with driving standards, developing staff, stock management, and spotting trends in the market to increase sales.

Responsibilities:

• Be actively involved of day to day running of a store
• Manage a large team and assist Store Manager
• To achieve sales targets as agreed with management
• Motivating your management team, ensuring they are properly trained to deliver the highest of standards throughout the store, in regard to hygiene, cleanliness, visual display and customer service
• Merchandising skills to upsell
• Mentor, and lead by example

Who you are:

• Previous experience in retail management
• Can-do attitude
• Ability to motivate staff
• History of achieving KPIs
