Assistant Manager – Ballinrobe Co. Mayo

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our grocery retail client based in Ballinrobe Co. Mayo

Salary: €30k to €35k DOE

Our client is well known for its progression opportunities and is now looking to add a proactive Assistant Manager to its team due to tremendous growth over the past year. If you have previous experience in Grocery Retail and are looking to progress your career, look no further!

Responsibilities:

• Be actively involved in the day-to-day running of a store
• Manage a large team and assist the Store Manager
• To achieve sales targets as agreed with management
• To achieve a strong gross profit margin
• To ensure your management team is effective, organised, and achieving success
• Motivating your management team, ensuring they are properly trained to deliver the highest of standards throughout the store, in regard to hygiene, cleanliness, visual display, and customer service
• Merchandising skills to upsell
• Mentor, and lead by example

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail setting
• You will be an ambitious leader, commercial with excellent people management and communication skills
• Flexible, strong work ethic, passionate about food and be highly focused on customer service in everything that you do
